Five ways I can support men’s health this Father’s Day - and every day

As Father’s Day approaches on June 16, it's the perfect time to show appreciation for the important men in our lives by focusing on their health and wellbeing for a change.

Holistic treatments are not just for women, or those who identify as female, and I am proud to support men through my treatments and products.

Here are five thoughtful and nurturing ways I will be supporting men’s health this Father’s Day and every day.**

1. Indian Head Massage

Indian Head Massage is a deeply relaxing treatment that focuses on the head, neck, and shoulders. This ancient practice helps reduce stress, alleviate tension headaches, and promote better sleep.

It’s a wonderful way to help dads unwind and recharge. Scheduling an Indian Head Massage session for your man could be the perfect gift to help him relax and feel rejuvenated, especially if he works in a high-stress environment or spends long hours hunched over a computer.

It’s less embarrassing than a full-body massage as the client remains seated throughout as I work to relieve stress on the upper body only.

2. Reiki Relaxation

Reiki is a form of deep relaxation that promotes a sense of calm, reduces stress, and enhances the body’s natural healing processes. By balancing the energy flow within the body, Reiki can help improve mental clarity, emotional wellbeing, and overall health.

Booking a Reiki session can be a unique and thoughtful gift, offering dads a chance to experience deep relaxation and inner peace without the uncomfortable sensation of having to remove his clothes or talk about his feelings!

3. Frankincense Facial

Frankincense is known for its powerful anti-aging and rejuvenating properties. A Frankincense Facial not only pampers the skin, but also provides a luxurious and calming experience.

This facial can help improve skin tone, reduce wrinkles, and leave the skin looking radiant and refreshed, while the deeply calming, woody scent of Frankincense appeals to all genders.

Treating your man to a Frankincense Facial can be a wonderful way to show him that he deserves to be pampered too.

5. Encourage Regular Health Check-Ups

While pampering and relaxation are important, so is staying on top of regular health check-ups.

It’s important to encourage the men in your life to schedule routine medical appointments, including annual physicals and screenings for conditions like high blood pressure, diabetes, and prostate health. Providing support and reminders can go a long way in ensuring they stay healthy and proactive about their wellbeing. It’s worth remembering that GPs offer free health checks to over-40s.

This Father’s Day, go beyond the traditional gifts and consider these health-focused ideas. Whether it’s through a soothing massage, a relaxing reiki session, a luxurious facial, or quality skincare products, these thoughtful gestures can make a significant impact on your dad or partner’s health and happiness.

Show your appreciation by helping him prioritise his wellbeing and make this Father’s Day one to remember.
